Launched in October 2010, AgilePM® extracts the Project Management elements of the DSDM Agile Project Framework and makes them available as Agile Project Management – a certified approach in its own right. This enables Project Managers to adopt a mature, scalable corporate-strength agile approach within their organisations. This course combines both Foundation & Practitioner - you will be required to write your foundation exam ahead of attending the practitioner 3-days.
AgilePM Foundation:
The Agile Project Management Foundation course provides guidance about how to flex and deliver projects rapidly to meet your customers’ needs.
AgilePM Practitioner
The Agile Project Management Practitioner course provides detailed guidance that will allow you to become an agile project leader with an in-depth knowledge of agile principles.
Learning Outcomes
AgilePM Foundation:
- The underpinning philosophy and principles of agile.
- The lifecycle of an agile project, including the use of alternative configurations.
- The artefacts produced during an agile project and their purpose.
- The tools and techniques used, such as Facilitated Workshops, MoSCoW prioritisation, modelling, prototyping, timeboxing and iterative development.
- The various roles and responsibilities that exist within an agile project.
AgilePM Practitioner
- Setting up an agile project.
- Configuring the agile project lifecycle and its artefacts for a given scenario.
- Assigning roles and responsibilities.
- Organising and using Facilitated Workshops.
- Prioritising and managing requirements for incremental service delivery.
- Estimating.
- Timeboxing techniques.
- Identifying and managing risks.
- Developing and delivering iteratively.
- Measuring and reporting progress.

Course Delivery
Prerequisites
There are no mandatory prerequisites to join the course. You are however required to write your AgilePM Foundation examination on Day 2 before continuing to complete the AgilePM Practitioner course & exam.
Exam & Certification
AgilePM Foundation
- All methods of delivering this course include the exam in the fee
- The exam is 40 minutes in duration & includes 50 multiple choice questions
- Exams are administered online (proctored) by an independent examination body
- Participants are provided an exam voucher so they can schedule the exam at their convenience after completion of the course
- A passing mark of 50% is required to receive your AgilePM Foundation certificate
AgilePM Practitioner
- All methods of delivering this course include the exam & the courseware in the fee
- The exam is 150 minutes (2.5 hours) in duration
- There are 4 question papers with a maximum mark of 20 marks per question. Questions are complex multiple choice
- Open-book allowing the use of Agile Project Management Handbook only
- Exams are administered online (proctored) by an independent examination body
- Participants are provided an exam voucher so they can schedule the exam at their convenience after completion of the course
A passing mark of 50% is required to receive your AgilePM Practitioner certificate
